From MBM Webcraft to SilverServers.

1997
MBM Webcraft.
Mickael Maddison founds the company in Kamloops as a local web design and computer repair shop — one person, one shop, both sides of the screen.

2003
The rename.
Renamed SilverServers as in-house hosting and the team's own control-panel software take centre stage. The shop becomes both web design AND hosting under one roof.

2010
Local pivot.
Shift from international clients (22 countries at peak) to mostly local BC business. The phone numbers stop being three time zones away.

2014
Tech-first SEO.
SEO becomes commodity industry-wide. SilverServers leans into custom code and technical optimization as the differentiator — rankings earned through clean architecture, not gamed through tricks.

2015
Pulse launches.
In-house monitoring platform built and deployed — uptime, bandwidth, SSL, security, watched across hundreds of services. A decade later it's still running production.

2018
Into the data centre.
Servers move into a purpose-built Kamloops data centre — proper power, cooling, and carrier access, still ten minutes from the office.

2022
First 100G.
The first 100G network goes in — a tenfold jump in headroom for client sites, backups, and colocation traffic.

AI joins the toolkit.
AI tools move into day-to-day development. The code still gets read, reviewed, and owned by the people who ship it — the tooling just got faster.

Second 100G.
A second 100G link lands, taking the network to dual 100G with diverse routing.

Upgrades begin.
A major overhaul of the data centre footprint starts — power, cooling, and hardware refreshed across the racks.

2026
Upgrades complete.
The upgrade work wraps up. Nearly thirty years in, the same company still writes the code, runs the servers, and answers the phone.
